Over the last 12 years, Peterson’s Lighthouse suite of technology has been responsible for improving efficiencies and delivering insight into more than 8m tonnes of cargo worldwide.
The software ecosystem developed and used by Peterson’s operational teams, and licenced via SaaS subscription to clients, provides real-time data and analysis of the movement of goods across the end-to-end logistics supply chain.
Lighthouse has empowered significant cost reductions of up to 32% across the full logistics process, as well as up to a 22% reduction in C02 emissions.
Jaye Deighton of Peterson:
“To have surpassed 8m tonnes of cargo is an incredible milestone. The journey from original Lighthouse concept to deployment to ongoing development and where we are today has been fuelled by the innovative thinkers in our technical and operational teams. This is a product built on the expertise of the people who do the job and know our clients’ day-to-day requirements inside out.
“The use of data in logistics holds incredible potential to see the useable, make business critical decisions, save money, and improve sustainability. To now have 8m tonnes worth of data at our fingertips gives us a unique power to explore and support our customers in their decision making and discovering efficiencies.
“We are proud to be on this journey with our clients and look forward to millions of more tonnes to come.”
